What is a digital camera? A digital camera is a camera which dies not use chemicals or mechanics to create a picture. A digital camera uses a photo sensitive chip to record a copy of your image and converts it into digital format ready for use. The idea of digital memory cards is that they can be easily transferred between camera, pc or device without having to purchase any additional hardware. Each digital camera can use a verity of memory card options with memory cards starting from around £5 up to several hundred for cards that can store tens of thousands of images. The memory cards used in digital cameras can be swapped during a photo shoot without having to reset any equipment.
